Decent sandwich spot. Food was passable, but service was a bit rough. They seemed slammed and we're trying hard to please, but... kept falling short. I watched multiple orders get returned for poorly executed modifications, and personally found flecks ofblack plastic in my pudding. Every location from East Moline to Eldridge is a complete travesty. I keep trying to get that nostalgic experience of having... some Hungry Hobo like I did when I was younger but service and product quality have entered the 8th circle of hell? you mustabandon ALL expectations if you wish to be even the most minimally satisfied with a hungry hobo food product. My sandwich was anabsolute mess and my waffle fries were cooked for less than one minute and were smashed and soggy from the moment it left thethe fryer. What are you guys doing with your restaurant??? Im convinced the only reason you stay open is because your customersgive even less of an F than you do. My favorite sandwich place in the QC. The only downside is the lack of customization. It's getting better with online... ordering, though. Their chili is great. Their bread stays soft in the fridge and their ingredients are always fresh. Theircheese fries are fantastic. The last time we ordered it was < 30 minutes from order to being ready. Read more
