A nice place to grab a bite and a beer. Tried the 1772 draft and was very pleased with it. Ordered a Ring Bearer burger and the... Paper Bag fish and chips - divine. (One of the few places in Moncton we've found really good fries.). Food was hot, delicious,service was prompt. Will be back for brunch and/or lunch. Read more
Came on a recommendation, nice atmosphere well laid out restaurant with live music on Thursday’s . Nice to sit and enjoy... after a day Food presentation was nice. Taste was bland for the most part Nachos and meat had no seasoning to them, and forprice to amount, the amount of nachos and meat should have been 3x the amount . Chicken burger was only 1/2 coated in thecoating , while fries were good , Salad was good and the candied pecans were very good . Beautiful day on their patio. Although road construction near by was bit annoying. Was only going to have a beer and... appetizer. Had the mushroom toast. This was delicious! Decided to stay for dinner. Had the fish n chips and hubby had theburger. Fish was very good but their fries seasoning was way too salty for me. Asked for water but the server didn't bring itand never returned. Also had previously mentioned it was my husband's birthday... thought perhaps a free dessert. Nope.Mentioned it again to the next server and still nothing. I went inside to pay and the second server went to the table to bringthe bill when he clearly saw me waiting inside to pay. Great Experience! We were recommended by our contractor who has moved to the area in the last year or so. He just told us we had... to try it. By fluke were driving trying to find somewhere to eat and saw the sign. So glad we did! The server was great andhelped us pick a great appetizer (Mushroom Toast [my new favourite]) and our Mains The Gahan Haddock Tacos the Beef Melt. Plusthe Blueberry Ale!. I visited this morning with my book club. We had a private room which was great. Our server was awesome too. Our food was really... not that good. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was rock hard and dry. I did not enjoy the amount of "coleslaw"(red cabbage) on the waffle. The mimosas were great, as were the tater tots. Most of us (15) were not impressed with the food.Service was great though, along with the atmosphere. Read more
