After reading the reviews, I was disappointed with the service I received at this well known place. Arrived shortly after 11am... and greeted with a smile, it was not busy when we arrived. Since it was after 11am I was informed pan fries would be extra 4.79to my breakfast order. We surprisingly were never checked in on by our waitress who walked by multiple times. I did not receivethe straw I asked for with my water and the orange juice tasted thin and watered down. My partner got the hot Turkey Sandwichwith pan fries on the side, which ended up being flavourless and underdone with lots of onions. Over all - bang for your buck isit good here. Will not be back. Loved this spot for local grub! Perfect for a quick, casual breakfast or lunch. The food is ok, but it is great value.
Always super impressed with this restaurant! The food is delicious, like a home made meal, and lots of choices on the menu for... breakfast, lunch and dinner. The desserts are absolutely DELICIOUS as well! The prices are very reasonable and you get a goodportion! Our server was super nice and helped us with everything, I really recommend you try it! First time here in town and this is a place I'd not only recommend others too (aka you and friends/family), but also a resturant... I'm 100% coming back to. Foods to die for, left with a gut buster due to over eating which is probably what happens to everyonewho goes (hard time walking to the car). Everything is amazing so depends on what you're in the mood for, we wanted a little bitof everything and enjoyed everything on the menu, but also the service is east coast class (aka first class)! Very unique restaurant in Moncton. It is like you stepped back in time. You can?t find this kind of service anymore. The food... was very good and the fish was very fresh. The gravy for the mash potatoes was a little bland for my taste. The coleslaw wascreamy and delicious. The steak and cheese sub was ultra juicy and you?ll have to eat it with a fork and knife. The pies lookhome made, but unfortunately we were already too full to try. Just be aware that they close at 7, so if you plan on going fordinner, don?t go too late. Good breakfast offerings. The chicken wraps and steak sandwiches are fair for lunch. They have a standard kids menu as well.
