Had an amazing experience here! The server was very kind and very helpful in suggesting dishes to try. All of them were... excellent. Excellent Japanese and Asian cuisine. Not only is the food delicious, but the prices are very fair in comparison to the average,... even for alcoholic beverage choices. The ambiance is warm, and comfortable, yet the music is upbeat and fun (80s rock). The menuselection offers many choices including vegetarian options and the dish presentations are visually appealing. There are alsooptions that favor sharing amongst a group. Highly recommended! Yesterday was the fifth time my boyfriend and I dined here and I can honestly say that this is the only restaurant I've been to... that has been consistent with both service and food quality. The food is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. The restaurantdecor is so authentic as is their food. The music playlist is always something different and unique. We've tried almosteverything on their menu and they are just so good. Kanpai is Moncton's truest gem! No doubt, we will continue returning to thisplace! Read more

This was my first time to Kanpai and I will definitely be back! Service was impeccable, food was fantastic and the Japanese bar... aesthetic was perfect. We were seated right away, given menus and served quickly. The food was great, the presentation wasappealing and the drinks were fun spins on old favourites. The bathroom had disposable cups and mouth wash to use after as well.The staff also said thank you to every patron as they left. I had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful value. Read more
