I eat and drink here regularly. As a local bartender I see the good, the bad, and the ugly that this area has. This place does... outstanding work considering the small staff it has. One or two bartenders and 4 or 5 servers cover the 150+ seats and 10 or 11hour work days quite well. The kitchen uses fresh, top quality ingredients. Don't order a beef taco if you're expecting groundbeef, or taco bell mystery goop. It's grilled steak. They use whole chicken and make broth/stock from the leftovers that don'tgo into main dishes. Sometimes you gotta read a room. If you walk in and the place is packed or sense a tense situation, there'sother options around the lake. Half hour wait for table wasn't bad. But then we sat an hour waiting before anybody even came to serve us and we had to stop and... ask a server for that. Our server only came to see us three times and when it came time for us to ask for our checks she didn'teven remember what we ordered. The food was delicious. The worst customer service I gave EVERY experienced - we asked for nacho supremos with NO SOUR CREAM NO GUACAMOLE NO REFRIED... BEANS - then bright it and it was runny like soup - they brought it wrong TWICE the owner came got smart with us. - I asked himto listen to us because there is a reason here had to bring the same plate multiple times he turned around and walked away andyelled ?
