If you live within 100 miles it totally worth the drive. I've always been disappointed with the lack of donut shops around the... Galesburg area these guys have stepped in in a Big Way. Loved the fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls! Huge donuts and everything was very tasty...even despite the fact that their... oven and their coffee machine was giving them fits the morning we were there. THE MOST WONDERFUL DONUTS!! My grandfather worked as a baker for many years. When I was small I loved to go to the local bakery... where he worked to get fresh incredible donuts! It has been so many years since I have had donuts as wonderful as the ones mygrandfather made, but Maple City Donuts has done it!! The donuts are wonderful! He has a nice selection, not tons of selection, but you can easily find one or five you will like. ... He hads just introduced a Holland Cream filling to his line up! Not sickeningly sweet, just perfection! I don't normally likea filled donut, but love this!! Plenty of booth seating. He has a few choices of coffee which are fresh. He has even juststarted a delivery service if you are located in Monmouth! Give him a try, you won't regret it!! Read more
