Came here while in town for business and staying next door at the hotel. Was referred by a colleague. Sat at the bar and ordered... a carryout. Went with the pizza and an order of cheese curds. Cool atmosphere with the open views of the waterway. - Back in myroom and into the meal, the cheese curds were very tasty with a side of ranch for dipping. I really wish I could say the sameabout the pizza. The word bland comes to mind. Thin crust. I could have finished it but didn't. Should have gone with a burger. Read more

Great food, great service. Really nice seating area outside. Food was so good and portion sizes were worth the price.

This appetizer was delicious! I can't tell you what our entrees tasted like because after an hour and a half, we never got them!... Our server was also frustrated, as there were problems in the kitchen... Short staff? New staff? I don't know. No offers made tomake it up to us in some way. We finally paid for our appetizer and left. What a great date night (actually we got sushi takeouton the way home, which turned out great). Also to note, none of the vegan items on the online menu are actually available at therestaurant right now (not that it mattered I guess). Won't be back. Read more

Wonderful place tucked away in a little corner with wonderful outside seating and very cool Optical illusion Backbar. Food was... great and the beer selection was also great. Enjoyed the black and blue burger ???? menu stated that it had a Cajun seasoning. Idid not taste that at all. The burger was very flavorless but it was so juicy. So that made up for it. This restaurant is a wonderful upper middle end restaurant. We arrived and were seated immediately. Even though our waitress was... busy closing out a busier table, we were greeted, given water and offered menus right away. I selected the sangria and we hadchicken wings as an appetizer. We selected the dry rub, and the wings were still juicy and well done. I had the scallop andberry salad and it was absolutely perfect. I have a dairy intolerance, and our waitress made sure the scallops were not cookedin butter (without me even having to ask or specify!). Went here for brunch only to find out they no longer offer it. ???? Food was quite tasty. Had a variety of things. French onion... soup was very good and the Firecracker Shrimp tacos were delicious. Decided to have the creme brulé for desert. Very good. Read more

Went for lunch and it was busy but the wait was short. Nice wine selection and a lot of food options. Service with a smile. The... place cleared out and we never felt rushed. Would love to stop sometime when it's warm to sit outside. Read more

Buck & Honey's never disappoints! We recently went there for my birthday lunch and the appetizer platter is absolutely... delicious, as are the fish tacos and pizza. We love dining outdoors on their patio overlooking the river. It's a great place togo for date night or a date lunch, or a family meal. Great addition to Monona! Read more
