Really enjoyed this experience. Came in with my daughter, got a booth right away. Really nice and attentive waitress helped me... get my order in quickly. Food came out fast, and it was good. Service and food were absolutely amazing and served super fast! If you visit this location you need to ask for a server named... Essence. She is super friendly and goes above and beyond. We ordered Moons over my Hammy with pancakes and all the food wascooked to perfection! I would highly recommend this location. Thanks again guys! Read more
Breakfast is a hard 'widget' to sell, let alone on a busy Sunday morning. I've been self-employed now for 25 years. Prior to... such I managed restaurant locations for Darden in the Chicago region at busy busy locations. I came to this Denny's locationthis morning after walking out of a different restaurant this morning. At that prior location I noticed small things that causedme to realize that the prior establishment was not going to be a great experience, and even a good experience was in question. Oh, how my morning has changed the outlook of my day that I found this Denny's location.... Where do I begin to start? The host,still not sure if his name, very might we'll be management, but I can't be sure. Part of the reason I can't be sure is everyemployee here is carrying their weight and helping others. I was seated at the counter as a single diner which I was most happyto have a chair after standing at the earlier restaurant for 20 minutes and not being sat. My order for food, eggs benedictwith a side of French toast, was promptly delivered to the kitchen and expedited in wonderful time. If you've ever been herebefore you've noticed that the kitchen is openly exposed to the dining experience... If you've ever worked in restaurantsbefore, you've also heard that the kitchen can be a noisy place...not this one... This one operates so quietly andprofessionally that you can hear the cracked egg hit the frying pan. Incredible efficiency starts in the kitchen on a Sundaymorning breakfast and it is a smooth operating machine. Communication by the staff is unparalleled... If you've ever worked ina restaurant you know there can be locations that are deemed to be "crash corners" we're front of house staff can accidentallybump into each other as they round a corner coming from different directions. What I love about the Monona Denny's is the consistency. I ALWAYS receive excellent service, no matter who is working. The food... is always delicious, as expected. And the time it takes for the food to arrive to the table is always fast! I have zerocomplaints about this location. Read more
There were 2 people total working and they were magnificent! So much so was their magnificence that my brain temporarily... switched to power saver mode and I've forgotten their names. The FOOD, immaculate! So immaculate was the taste and presentationof the meal that it further pushed my brain into an almost complete shutdown, no thoughts, only flavour and basic biologicalfunction, it was BLISS. The restaurant next door was closed so I came to Denny?s. I thought Dennys was closed, because the windows were dirty and had... many spider webs. I saw the open sign and went in. The server was nice. I had the French Slam. The food was good. My onlycomplaint: the sausage was cold. Read more
They had only one server and one cook and the food and service was AWESOME!!!
