While the food was pretty good, we waited over 90 minutes to eat when there weren't more than 4 other small tables at any given... time during our visit (and two servers). We ordered appetizers and were assured they would be out before our meal. After an hourand a half later, our server came out to say due to the long wait for our appetizers, he was going to remove them from thecheck. When our meals arrived about 10 minutes later, we still had no appetizers and inquired about them. Apparently the waiterdidn't mean he was just removing the cost of the late apps, he just canceled the order for them altogether. During our longerthan expected wait (which we were never informed of upon arrival), we were offered a drink refill only once. Based on tonight'sexperience, I wouldn't recommend stopping here for dinner unless you have several hours to kill. Read more

Poor uninvolved service. One person did it all (bartending serving, etc) we would have felt better if they weren't so... understaffed. California Burger was mediocare, potato fries good, but the fish fry for me was undercooked, fries were coldmarble bread was outstanding. Excellent amount of different beers! I didn't notice if there was a flight plan- which would havebeen great. Want 2 also mention our server is not at fault in any way, he was doing a spectacular job with what he was dealtwith! Stopped in on a Thursday around 5. We grabbed some seats outside on the patio. They have a your traditional burgers and then... of course some that are ?outside the box? as far as toppings, but sounded interesting and good. However, I can only eat one andI had the Kentucky Bourbon classic. It was delicious and the service was on par with the good food. We?re not from Madison, but I?d certainly stop back if we were, or if we happen to be in the area again. Read more

Don't waste your money. Got an order to go. The burgers were dry and expensive; $53 for three burgers and one order of onion... rings. Burgers didn't even come with fries or chips. Cost $10 for an order of onion rings and we got eight onion rings, that isabsurd. Called to talk to the manager about it when we got home and she didn't care at all that we weren't happy, zero customerservice and a bit rude, told us food is expensive. It was our first time and it will be our last. And apparently because Iordered online for pickup the items cost more, I guess you are supposed to call them and waste their time to take an order overthe phone? Wish zero stars were an option. Had a group of 10 that showed up the night before a family wedding & we were treated like one of the family. Waiters &... waitresses were prompt, funny, kind & gave great recommendations. Food was excellent- from the cranberry salad to the Kentuckybourbon burger. Job well done!!! Read more

Beer cheese was spoiled on the fries. Only about 12 pickles in the order of fried pickles. Didn't have any plastic ware for... our to go order. Wanted to charge extra for one extra blue cheese cup. The manager acted like he didn't care. There is areason there was no one in the restaurant. I should have gotten the hint and left instead of trying this place. At least BWWgives you celery and carrots with your wings. Last time I try the local establishment. Can't see this location lasting muchlonger. They are focused on saving a penny here and there rather than on the customer experience. Read more

This place is a good place to go if you want to try a bunch of beers at a moderate markup. This is not a good place to go for... food. Got a burger, fries, and my partner got a burger and chips. We got cheese curds to share. Not only was the portion ofcheese curds small but they were overcooked. Over half were just breading, the cheese cooked out into the fryer. Then I get myburger and fries. The burger is small. The bun was 3/4" larger in diameter than the burger. When you're paying double digitsjust for the burger alone, it should at least be the same size as the bun. The fry portion was so small I counted them. 23fries, that's including the small 1" ones. TLDR: Decent beer value. Horrible food value. Read more
