I came in with my family around 6 PM to be greeted by the hostess that was not dressed appropriately at all for work. Me and my... family were then waited on by Mike who clearly must have an anger issue. I ordered a milkshake and after 15 minutes I asked ourwaiter Mike is he possibly forgot the milkshake (which he did). Mike then came back to the table after another 10 minutes withmy melted milkshake in which he slammed on my table in front of my family which I thought was extremely disrespectful. Theentire crew working this Tuesday might 11/8/2022 seemed very deranged and not fit to be working a job that deals with customers.Me and my family loved this diner but we will not never come back and will gladly take our business somewhere else. This is a very people friendly diner. It's my favorite place to meet up with my daughter for breakfast. It is casual, large menu... choices and always delicious. Great variety.The wait staff always helps us if we have questions. We are never rushed. Parking iseasy, place is clean. You can eat at tables or booths. Read more
Nice place. Banana pancakes were great. The corned beef hash is not to be missed. Made in house, you can see the onions and... herbs. Not like the canned cat food you get elsewhere. So good i forgot to take pics. Read more

Our 1st time there, I had a western omelet , my sister got banana and walnut pancakes with bacon on the side. All delicious and... piping hot. Staff was amazing, friendly and fast. Waiters, bus boys and host all work together as a well oiled machine. Greatteamwork, we saw many smiles from customers and staff. We felt very comfortable there. Excellent waiter (Mike) is one reason I gave a 2 rating instead of 0. The food was not good. We have visited this diner many... times and the food was always good. I ordered a fish sandwich that not only looked nasty but tasted terrible. I could not eatit. Mike noticed right away and offered to get me something else so I asked for a grilled cheese. It was adequate at best. Notyour usual diner grilled cheese. Cole slaw was also terrible and could not eat it. Very disappointed with this visit. Read more
Went here for early dinner on Saturday, friendly welcome and nice diner, had booth overlooking the road, enough to see. Waitress... was friendly. Started with classic creamy chicken lemon soup, very good. Me and my son had burgers with fries, they were great,maybe a bit overcooked but good burger and bun. No salt/pepper/sauces you can do that yourself, I like that because it is verypersonal. Portions are huge and good food, we liked the coleslaw a lot because it is a bit picklish, exactly how we want it.Will definitely come back and nice place to have in Monroe, convenient location and pricing is like other diners.
