Went with my children for pizza many years ago. We were the first ones there at 5:00, ordered pizza and drinks. An hour and... fifteen minutes later went up to the counter to check on our pizza's and the guy behind the counter said "what do want, priorityservice"? My husband and I go to Sal?s fairly regularly. Tonight we arrived and the restaurant was very full. However there was a set of... tables bunched together as if waiting for a large party. We asked the waitress if she could split up the tables as there weremultiple groups waiting to be seated. Her response was no because we don?t know if a large group might come in. One couple leftand we and another couple ended up waiting almost a half hour for a table. Fast forward to halfway through our meal and a groupof 6 people come in. At this point the waitress splits up the tables seating 6 people and leaving one table empty. Keep in mind,these tables were empty when we arrived, were empty halfway through our meal, and one table remained empty when we left. We've always enjoyed everything we've ordered from Sal's. The food is delicious and their service has always been good. We... recently needed to plan a small luncheon after a funeral and decided to go to Sal's. We were in a side room for privacy, whichwas wonderful. The food and service were great, and we felt like we were at family dinner. Thank you Sal and Antonella formaking the end of a difficult day feel comforting for us all. I would definitely recommend them for dine in, take out and anice place for a gathering. Read more
PLEASE do not eat here!!!!!!! The prices are very cheap, explains why the quality of the food is so poor. Chicken marsala has a... good sauce but the chicken is so floury. The carpet is so disgusting and covered in stains, and the walls aren't even paintedproperly. The son and father who own and run the place never wore masks during Covid, and I thought to report it but I didn't.The son was also extremely rude to my mother when she complained about her eggplant parm, saying that there was nothing he coulddo. He's literally the one that cooked it!! Also heard from someone that a head of lettuce was dropped on the floor and theydidn't even wash it!! They just chopped it up anyway and served it. Disgusting. I only regret that it took me so long to try this place out! What a gem this was, the pizza was absolutely delicious. A very... different flavor than the other pizzerias in the area, a flavor I will definitely return for. The other food we ordered was alsoexcellent, an overall success! Read more
