This location was quick to take my order and confirmed that it was correct before giving me my total. I was able to pull right... up to the window. She gave us our drinks first as she took my payment. It was then that she noticed my doggie in the back. Sheasked politely to pet her. She offered to give us water for my doggies too. When she came back with our food she brought herco-worker too. They both cooed over them. That is not something we see too often. It was a pleasant surprise. The employees are super nice. The food is meh with the exception of their apple pie. No other fast food restaurant makes an... apple pie as good as Checkers. They are still less than a dollar as well. I had a chicken sandwich and it was ok, but I tastedit the rest of the evening. Fries are decent, akin to Arby's. Read more

I don't know if there's a Checker's out there that DOESN'T have stale oil in their fryers! I guess that's what makes the food... taste so good!???????????? Anyway, the Monroe location on Hwy 38 has both a drive thru and an in-store option. I haven't seenthat before. Read more
