My family has ordered from here a couple of times now. We love the atmosphere, very bright and clean. Friendly and attentive... staff. Wonderful food! My mother loves the tacos with chorizo! I have gotten a bowl each time I've been there. My son likestheir quesadillas. I really like the mango pico! I would say it's like a Qdoba, but authentic. Read more
So this pains me to write, but my experience today hasn't been the best. We come to Javi P's every time we drive through... Monroe... so far I've been here several times. The food is great and the food quality has been good but I noticed they didn'thave all the sauces they used to. However, today, both restrooms had no soap and the women's restroom had no functioning sink(no water, no soap). When I told the staff they were unimpressed and said the owners new of the problem already. The way theysaid it is as if the owners have known this for a little while and are just not doing anything about it. Also, the tables weredirty and overall the restaurant wasn't as clean as it used to. I just hope this is a fluke and the food will continue to begood. Read more
The females behind the serving bar are usually mean bad attitude. This visit they were nice friendly engaging and even assisted... me with my questions re' how hot / spicy is this sauce, that sauce. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT / FRESH. The tortilla chips are someof my favorite in town. I got the carne asada on a bed of greens black beans white queso, off the cob corn, guacamole, rice,pico de gallo.... Delicious. Everything married well together. So this place is a lot like Chipotle, if you've ever eaten there. Basically you have an option of burrito, bowl, salad, etc... then you choose a rice, meat, vegetables & toppings. They do have good selection of toppings and a bowl can be quite filling. Ifind you get more food with a bowl vs a burrito (wrap). Plus the bowl is less messy to eat. Food looks fresh & is very goodtasting. Drinks are self serve. There is also a bar inside. Outside seating is available to diners. The atmosphere is typicalfor a Mexican restaurant. The tables & floor appeared clean on my visit. I would recommend this place to others. Read more
Food is always really good, but today the chips where stale and was given no salsa with big order that came with 6 bags of stale... chips. The staff was very rude this time also which is unusual, maybe it was the large baseball team that just left but thesedays extra business should put a smile on any employees face that understands how business works . Will think twice and aboutother options before we return to spend our money but they do have the best Mexican rice in town ! Read more
10/10 quality, for both food a customer service. More options to choose from than Chipotle, for sure. Fresh ingredients. Large... meat portion size! Almost too much (I got the steak bowl). The Spanish rice is actually amazing, not like ?spanish rice? atother restaurants at all- bland, just orange. Loved our experience & definitely will be back a lot! Read more
