Have been looking for a great hamburger since a local landmark closed and we've found it! Fresh, hand formed pay with fresh... fixings and drip down your hands goodness. French fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Wonderful meal thatwas topped off with a piece of their famous chocolate pie!! Read more

Worst breakfast ever! This place looked dirty and the decor is so so so old. No condiments brought to the table for the coffee,... biscuits or pancakes. Server never came back. The food was greasy. No flavor and the thinnest, cheapest bacon I've ever seen. Iwill never return. Read more

We came in for breakfast last week and service was bad. Thought we would try it again today in hopes that it was just a bad day... for them. Nope. Service was worse today and they were not even busy when we went. Unfortunate because the food is decent andthe prices are good. Update: gave Lea?s a 3rd try today and it was much better. Bailie was a great waitress and the food wasdelicious. So I increased my stars from 1 to 4 because friendly wait staff makes all the difference. Read more

All the unique qualities of a diner! $10 and less for meals! Stuffed biscuit with sausage, bacon & ham!! Smothered in sausage... gravy! Very basic recipe. But bursting with flavor. Fresh and fast service. Bailey was a great server and recommended the hashbrowns. Which were amazing! Didn?t get their pie, but all the guests in there were eating it. Read more

Classic local diner experience. Hot breakfast, good hot coffee. We had a couple of the breakfast combos and an egg and... biscuit. Everything was tasty. Things were a bit busy and we had to flag down the server for refills, but that was not hard todo. This is an established local place and there are "stories" that we would love to know. But, we will have to go back andask. The guitar on the wall, the painted seat backs, even the old TV...seems like there is history and tradition here. Therewas plenty of seating and there were little booths outside. Parking was a little limited but adequate. Only downside was no"real" butter for the biscuit. Good food in a relaxed casual environment. We have heard multiple exclamations on theexcellent reputation of the pies. We hope to snag one on the way home. Will update you later! Read more

One of my least favorite local spots over hyped and not worth your time. A while back I gave this place a 1 star review for its... lackluster food and its pitiful service. It has not improved. We went here with a group the other day, The cooks have triedbless their hearts but everything needed salt and pepper and just a bit more love. The wait staff was rude. They for got ordersand who asked for what, You could tell they didn't want to be there. I'm sure sometime in the next year or so a friend groupwill drag me back here out of nostalgia and I will give the another chance. Untill then.... Read more

A Louisiana legend - some of the best pies in the world. Great place for a casual breakfast or leisurely lunch. Mello Joy... coffee is good. Ham sandwiches are hard to beat. Convenient location. Read more
