The pork carnitas were excellent. We sat outside on the patio and had a very friendly server. I'm glad that we were finished... eating when we noticed a mouse running back and forth through a tiny opening into what I assume was the kitchen area. We may have just found a new authentic Mexican restaurant! We were looking for a new place to eat for our Friday night dinner... and came across El Vaquero. Staff was extremely nice and our waiter was top notch! We will definitely be eating here again inthe future! Read more
Good and fast service, Drinks and salsa refilled when they started to get low without having to ask. Typical Mexican restaurant... dishes, and some higher price fancier meals. Overall the food was good but somewhat bland, but I'm sure that is intentional toappeal to Midwestern American tastes. Nice ambiance, with Mexican pop music in the background. Read more
Probably the best Mexican I've had in MI. The ingredients are fresh and sliced to perfection. Sauces on point. Vegetarian... selection is amazing. See the Enchiladas Veg and Chimi Veg in my pics. I almost didn't want to eat as it looks like art. Read more
Best place to get awesome, authentic Mexican food. We've been coming here for years; their tacos al pastor are unrivaled.... Service is always great, food comes out quick even when the restaurant is packed, and they've got a wide selection of cocktailsand drink specials. Nothing on their menu has been a disappointment.
