Reviews for Amendola's Pizzeria & Restaurant in Monroe, NY
I was excited to try something new and thought the food would be good based off the reviews. Couldn?t have been more... disappointed. The food was not fresh tasting and low quality. I?m not a fussy eater at all, but my eggplant rollatini wasinedible - I had to throw it away. The sauce was watered down and greasy and the cheese tasted spoiled. My husband ordered acheese steak sandwich and I clearly stated twice no mushrooms when I ordered over the phone. We come home and there are loads ofmushrooms on it. He is highly allergic to mushrooms and could have gotten very sick if he ate it. We will stick to Marinas andPlanet Pizza! Never had issues there and have been going for years. Read more
Its all in the sauce when it comes to pizza for our family, and this pizzeria does it right. I don't know if the pope himself... blesses every batch of sauce, but their pizza is probably the best I've ever had in my life. And I've tried pizza everywhere,the city, other states and all over NY. Amendola's is really number (1). Read more

Great Sicilian Pizza & Great Calzone for Friday night's dinner....we also love Meatball and Parmagion hero's. We've had catered... food from them for parties and professional gatherings also and never been. dissatisfied. A + based on our guests comments tous. Read more
Easily one of my favorite pizza joints for the past 7 years. I really liked their pizza, calzone, chicken cutlet parmigiana with... spaghetti and garlic knots. It's one of the very few pizzeria places that i actually like and go frequently. Read more
We ordered pepperoni slices and garlic knots. I'm from out of state, but I've had pizza in the state of New York many times,... and I'm not always impressed. I have to say this restaurant really lives up to the new york pizza reputation. I was notdisappointed at all! Read more
This is easily the best pizza in town, I like to stop in whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It is the same great pizza I remember... having as a kid, and the same family running the restaurant. I also enjoy the Amendola's labeled drinks in the fridge. You mightwant to check out the Nicola Noble books they have available there; maybe get an autograph! Read more
