The food was great. The only problem was they had no a/c on and the doors were kept open which allowed the bugs to come in.
Love the pernil and mofungo! I’ve ordered many times and it’s delicious, but had an issue with an order once. I contacted... the restaurant to let them know and the owner/manager promptly responded, so appreciative that I brought it to their attentionthat he remedied it right away! Let me start by saying I used to love coming here, the food and service was amazing. Now I haven’t wanted to come here for the... last 2 years as the food started slacking and then the service became worse and worse. Last week, I let my family convince meto give Mina’s a try again. And wow, was I surprised at how TERRIBLE the service was. I called in an order and they forgot toput it in, but even better than that instead of saying something the one person behind the counter didn’t even bother to lookfor my order and ignored me. Then the other girl asked if I was being helped 5 minutes later and told me they never put in theorder. I didn’t get any food. They don’t seem to care at all. I will never be coming back here again. So I just placed an order for $52 over the phone. Which only entailed of moro de guandules with the steak with onions, the skirt... steak with moro de guandules(yellow rice and pigeon peas) and a papa rellena (potato ball) which they did not have and replacedwith yuca rellena. I am of dominican background and grew up in Brooklyn. THIS IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DOMINICAN FOOD ORFLAVORS!!!!! When I arrived the ladies were all over the place. And the food needs flavor!!!
