Tres Amigos Stopped by Tres Amigos in Monroe Oh. yesterday for a late lunch, first time visiting and was pretty impressed. The... restaurant The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere festive but not overly so. The music was nice and needlessly loud. Thefood I ordered Pollo con Chorizo which is a favorite dish for me. The dish was well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Portion sizewas very close to perfect for a hungry guest and was a good value for what it cost me. The people People can make or break anybusiness, you could serve the best food available but if the service is bad folks will never forget. My server was Juanita,Juanita was friendly and attentive without hovering. She welcomed me at the door like she was welcoming back an old friend. Shechecked on me several times while I was eating and thanked me for visiting when I left. Juanita turned a good late lunch into atruly great dining experience. Found Tres Amigos while passing through on a road trip. It was very convenient from I-75. The dining area is clean and... comfortable, our service was great, and the waiter made suggestions and answered our questions. The food came out fresh and hot.I got a veggie burrito and wish I knew that the sauce would be spicy, which I usually would get on the side. But in general,everyone liked what they ordered.
