Great menu with a lot of new items. We had a salad..with fresh crisp vegetables. Also spinach-mushroom crepes with Hollandaise... sauce which was delicious & well prepared. Read more
My favorite French toast. I drive to Monroe just for the French toast. The staff is also amazing. My daughter is non verbal... and working very hard on speech and the waitresses have always been so patient. Now she uses a communication device and ourwaitress at Red Apple was phenomenal when we had my daughter order for the first time with the device. Read more

Have eaten here for years. Food and atmosphere are always good. Some things could use a facelift. The interior decor. But hey,... it small town monroe. If it works let it be. The owner, which I have been friendly with for years, responded kindly. As alwaysis the case. And he is correct. The decor does depict the history of Monroe quite well. It's a local diner. They do basic breakfast well at a good price. My wife likes gyro sauce for her fries and they cook the fries... well done for her just the way she likes them. The place could use a little updating to give it a fresh look. The wait staffwas spot on with everything. Read more
