Start with Italian wedding soup, appetizers Spinach, Roasted Tomatoes and Feta Portabello. Entrees HomemadeCrabcake with lemon buerre blanc, Spaghetti aglio olio and vegetables medley. Simply the best local Italian restaurant. I've had the pleasure of dining at just about every Pittsburgh Italian restaurant and... Gia Visto is clearly the best. As it is largely made to order the meal prep takes a bit longer but the service is prompt andfriendly and the salads and small plates are fantastic. I would recommend Gia Visto for anyone seeking authentic and freshItalian food for a reasonable price. BYOB. Read more
I went there looking for real Italian food. I ordered a rissoto, believe me , that was only rice boiled , some grilled chicken... over it and some slides of asparagus. I don?t recommend the restaurant at all. Read more
I cannot review what looks to be a very interesting menu because we were turned away at 6:45 last night when the sign out front... clearly stated that the kitchen closed at 8:00. The food looks promising on the website but the management clearly isn'tserious enough about the business to keep regular hours. The start time listed on the board out front says they open at12:00-ISH. Who does that? Caveat Emptor. Read more
