Unspectacular but solid American comfort food. Fries got soggy pretty quickly in the takeout container due to all the trapped... moisture, but the tots and chicken strips were robust and stayed crispy during the 10-minute drive home. All the food was wonderful. It really makes your taste buds come alive! The grilled salmon was the best I have tasted in a long... time. My granddaughter had the chicken tenders. You could actually call them chicken planks they were that big. They were alsovery tasty, I think they make them themselves! The portions are just right and you do not walk away hungry. Pictures speak for itself. 2 stars for compensating our meal, but they clearly don?t care about their customers. Had to call the... establishment after WE had a BATTERY in our meal. This was a nice restaurant in the past. I frequented the downtown location while attending evening classes at CCAC. This is my... first time eating at this location and I will never come again. The portions were smaller than I would like. I ordered thePittsburgh salad usually the bell peppers would be the same size and they were not. I had what looked like 6 pieces of steak andit wasn?t cut evenly. It was almost like the chef had zero experience cooking in a kitchen. There were fruit flies don?t wasteyour time at this location. I had a good time. My girl took me out to eat. I just wasn't happy that my Salmon dinner was $15 and change, and the other... half wasn't there. It was good it's been over 30 years since I been at a Max & Erma's. Glad to see that the menu expanded. You use to couldn't get turkey burgers. A plus in that. Read more
I went here on new years and it was my first time there. Bery good food i also got a longisland and that was fire. Strong but... fire. I got the Irish Boss sandwithc and that was really good. The chicken tortilla soup is worth the drive. The location in Robinson closed and no one else around makes the soup as good as... Max and Erma's! I also love the burgers! They cook them perfectly how you order them. I've never had a bad experience at any oftheir locations. I wish they sold the tortilla soup in bigger quantities to go.
