Not a huge fan. I've been at quite a few Indian restaurants, and the food I ordered from here was one of the spiciest dishes... I've ever had from such a restaurant. I wasn't really impressed by any of the food and the prices are higher here than at manyother places. I tried the channa bhatura (chickpea with puffy bread), kheer, and gulab jamun. The bread was quite good. Theygave me two pieces of bhatura. It was flavorful and had a good texture, so no complaints there. However, the chickpeasthemselves were sooo spicy! I could barely eat this dish, and it was supposed to be a 5/10 spice. They also don't have a spiceoption listed on their website, so make sure to write it in the comments. Also, the chickpeas were not in a nice thick curry, but rather, in a watery, soupy consistency. Not good. 2.3/5 The kheer was pretty good. Nothing that special about it. It seemedto be made with vermicelli instead of the regular rice, but not bad. Again, it was not thick and creamy, but soupy. It was atleast and flavorful. They did put some nuts and raisins in there. 2.6/5 Gulab jamun was also nothing special. They give youquite small portions for $4 (3 tiny balls). It also didn't quite taste homemade (but I can't confirm this). Also just not asgood as I've had elsewhere. 2.5/5 All in all, I probably won't return to this place. The prices are way high for the portions(not just for th food I ordered, but some biryanis cost $17 or $18! And curries around $16). Spice levels aren't too accurate. There are better options in my opinion. If you are considering visiting the Monroeville location, try New India Grill instead. It's sooo good, amazing portions, and way cheaper prices. Read more

Experiencing other cultures is something that I've always enjoyed. Food is a cultural window into another world. My sweet client... took me to dinner last night at Mintt Indian Cusine in Monroeville. Everything was delicious. Support local too. The wait staffwere extremely attentive. Several people checked on us through out or meal. Decent pricing & huge menu of options to pick from. Read more

Had been to Mint during our trip to Pittsburgh with family. We went on a Saturday for dinner. The restaurant was fairly... crowded. We wanted to order Soup, but was informed that the soup is not available for that day.We ordered Baby Corn Manchurian,Vegetable Chettinad, Mutter paneer and Garlic Naan The Baby Corn Manchurian was crispy with a slightly tangy taste. Thechettinad gravy was spicy and delicious. The mutter paneer felt more like Paneer Butter Masala with Green Peas. The garlic naanwas okay-ish as I felt that it needed to be bit more "garlicky". Overall, the food was good with decent portion size. Thrservice was fast as we got orders pretty quick. They gave complementary Papad with tamarind and mint chutney and complementaryorder of steam rice along with the Veg curries. A good Indian restaurant in Monroeville!! Read more

No words say how happy my husband and I are with Mintt! We had Amritsari fish as an appetizer, crunchy, hot and full of flavor.... Only thing it needs was a cool dipping sauce. Not spicy at all. Will definitely order again. My husband got his usual goatBiryani, he claimed he fud gave it better at one other place but Mintt is next in line for the best ever. I had Goat Kurma andI was just intoxicating. Also had one order of garlic and onion Naan. Very excited to try out the whole menu??? Read more
