I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism during my first visit. I was looking forward to the food and... atmosphere, being that I heard great things about the restaurant; however, this experience left something to be desired. Ourparty of 12 was left sitting at the bar despite having a 1:30 brunch appointment for my girlfriend\'s birthday. The owner wasasked to come out to address us, but never did, and we were told numerous times that tables were being prepared for us. I camefrom Greentree, so I did not appreciate being left hanging. Went today for a birthday celebration reserved for 12 at 1:30p. 40 minutes later and we hadn\'t been seated as there was a party... of 50 that was still occupying the main room.We were told the tables were being bussed to accommodate us after 25 minutes, butthat was not the case. None of the management staff/owners addressed the person who made the reservation. Nothing was offeredfor compensation. We weren\'t even offered a glass of water while we waited. I\'m very disappointed with the lack ofattentiveness shown by the establishment. I hear the food is good, but I\'m not sure I care to revisit to find out. Read more
Came here with a friend for brunch. The DJ was on point and had us jamming.\n\nThey had a brunch set up but I had a taste for... soul food so that\'s what I ordered. I had to wait for it to be prepared but I didn\'t mind at all because the atmosphere wasinviting.\n\nFood: was delicious. Wow, talk about monroevilles best kept secret! we ordered the queen crab legs and the smothered pork,greens, mac and shrimp. The... Xai seasoning was delicious, flavorful and sweet. The Porkchops were so good x my fiance said she could drink it as a soup. Bestsmothered porkchop I think I\'ve ever tasked. Sorry Gram. The Greens were delicious and not too heavy and greasy. They wereperfect! Our fried shrimp were big and plump with breading seasoned just right.\nI was kind of blown away at how off the chartsevery dish was. I will 100% be back. With friends.
