Fantastic staff and setting. From the hostess to the servers, the friendliness and professionalism reflects the price points. ... The food was a little disappointing. The oysters tonight were from New Brunswick and were fresh and served with a lovely redonion vinagrette. The beet salad lacked character and flavour. The shared halibut was underseasoned and underwhelming. However, the dessert we chose - creme brulee on sugar pie topped with maple cotton candy was decadently sweet and the espressowas excellent. The little details tell abigger story of care and attention that can be lost in the sheen. Whiile some "restaurants" try to class it up, some are justclassy. They sadly be confused by the real deal, so please make no mistake, this place is legit. These small touches make themain means stand out. The service is top notch. Quick, friendly and knowledgeable. They come in clinically with a refill oreven before you notice you need something. This 5 star service makes you feel confident in what may lay ahead. Specifically howthey talk about the dishes and what to expect for the first bite. The small touches are things like the plating and glassware.They give some charm to the place that you would not expect and make a drink feel even more elevated experience. The menu at afirst glance may seem limited but curated is a better description given the quality and thought given to each piece. I went aspart of a group and we went for most of the options, and nothing was short of excellent. The tomahawks were flashy as expectedbut the meat and pairings warranted the price by themselves.
