The food and dining room were great. This is more of a high end french cuisine than italian restaurant and all of the item we... ordered were delicious and impeccably plated. Everything we ordered was perfect on taste and presentation alike. Every itemcould compete with any of the best tables in the Montreal area, not a small feat. I loved some of the more creative ideas andflavour mixing while the more conservative aspect were very well executed. No obvious complain on the food level, veryimpressive work. The main issue I have is the service that was not on par with the quality of the food. The waiter was not ableto describe the choices in detail and had obvious lack of knowledge of the menu. She was very nice but you would expect a moreprofessional waiting staff from a restaurant of this quality. Multiple mistake were made on orders and she forgot some of theitem we asked for so we needed to ask multiple time. But again all the staff was very polite, joyfull and dealing with the COVIDreality. I think a bit of training and coaching could easily fix those issues which are often overlooked by owners. The nameand "authentic italian food" label does not seem to reflect the nature of the experience. The writen menu itself is very shy onexplanation and does not sell the experience right, being red and plasticky such as what you would expect from a lower rangerestaurant. Overall a lot of potential if they are able to tune those little details. The food has heart and they sure have aspectacular location with a view. The prices were also very modest for the amount and quality of the meal you will receive. Thehighest priced item in the 4 course meal was the spectacular filet mignon for 55$ if I remember correctly. With the right staffmanagement and image correction, the have the engine to be one of the best table in the very prestigious Mont-Tremblant area. Read more
Server was great. Perhaps this was a staffing issue but comments below sound similar. 30+ min to even be greeted and offered... water. Our food took two hrs to arrive. Dishes were missed. When they did arrive they were wrong. There was a 40 min windowfrom when the first meal was served to the last. Our questions and concerns were dismissed, definitely don'trecommend. Food took close to 2 hours to arrive, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The waiters mixed up all the orders and the... ones they did get right they put in the wrong seats. Their only desert was a fruit salad which was only a single chopped melon.The only thing that gives it 2 stars instead of one is the fact that the food, even though comes in small, tastes adequate.Disappointed in the whole experience and will not go back. Service was atrocious. We had a reservation for 8PM, our drinks didn't arrive for 30mins. Salads took an hour. Hot food didn't... arrive until well into the second hour. Looked like there was a big party in the other room, but I can't imagine that was awalk-in, so the restaurant had the ability to plan ahead and chose not to. Admittedly the food was boring, but we read the menuand knew what we were getting into. The speed of service though.... Wow. Read more
A little hidden gem in the old village of Mont Tremblant. My wife and I recently had dinner in IL Pinnacolo and were treated to... a wonderful evening. We got to the restaurant and were met by Chef Jamie, who informed us that she would not only be the Chefbut our server for the evening. I guess the waitress that had been hired that week didn't show up and of course didn't botherto let the restaurant know (what's with employees any more .. if you don't want the job, don't accept it and leave a businessscrambling to cover .. I don't get it). Anyway .... we both had the bruschetta as an appetizer the Veal Marsala as the maincourse. Both were excellent ... and the bill was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this restaurant on your next stayin Tremblant you wont be disappointed. Oh and the view from the restaurant is amazing, try to get their for sunset you won'tregret doing that. Chef Jamie well done, we will be back on our next visit to the area. Read more
