The food was great, but to eat using your IPhone light to be able to see the food is a little annoying. It was late in the... evening, I asked the waiter if the lighting could be increased, I was told "Management wants a Pub atmosphere", great, but Iwant to be able to see the food in my plate. I was very excited to visit this establishment based on the reviews. Sadly, apart from very friendly service from our server,... everything else fell well short of expectations. Ambiance - We made a reservation and chose the Terrace. We were sat directlyby the door, and the hostess station. No privacy whatsoever, and people literally bumping into our chairs and table. To makethings worse, a table from inside decided they could not sit inside because it was too hot. A ten minute argument ensued at thehostess stand, essentially at our table. 6 persons vs a loud manager. I eventually had to loudly say "It's getting hot outhere now too, with all this hot air!" The manager was slow to diffuse the situation, and seemed more interested in putting ona show, talking like he was on a restaurant reality show "You know I'm going to SELL your table inside right lady?" Food wasawfully overcooked. I got the pasta of the day, which was apparently homemade in-house. Grossly overcooked, no bite at all tothe Pasta. Whatever effort that it took to make pasta fresh, was ruined by cooking it for 15 mins. My partner got the catch ofthe day. A piece of rubbery overcooked white fish, over a few veggies, and pool of oil. She didn't eat more than half. Whenasked how we liked everything, we calmly explained and showed how food was terribly overdone. Server simply said ok, offered usa dessert(declined, wasn't interested in discovering how they could flub that), and took our plates away. No visit from ourpreviously mentioned manager. He was too busy glaring at the table of 6, to seemingly make them uncomfortable. Verydissatisfied. Awful experience. Save your money. Read more

Lovely ambience, professional and friendly service and excellent food. My wife and I had the escargot, scallops and braised... beef rib. All the food was deliciously rich and flavourful without being oversalted. This allowed some of the more subtleflavours of the pea shoots and walnuts to come through. Really excellently done. The inside of the restaurant is very romantic. There is also a very cool wine shack. The food is very good, especially the... chef's special dishes. I recommend to visit this place and if you are looking for a nice dinner. Read more

Great place for dinner. We really enjoyed the food and the service. We had the soup of the day, the goat cheese salad, steak and... veal. The only reason I didn?t give it a 5 star is because the fries were overly salted and my husband?s veal was a little bitdry. Would recommend going for their steaks as it was excellent and the mashed potatoes. Read more
