Haven't had a lobster roll in five years so I had high expectations when I saw the sign outside. I took my time, read other... reviews on Hooked and other nearby restaurants, and decided this was the best option. I stand by that but I will say that I'vehad better. ???? The ambiance inside was nice and initially, I thought the price was fair for a lobster roll ($32). However, Iexpected more and was a little underwhelmed. I think the lobster to mayo ratio was on the money but something about the hot dogbun threw me. ???? For the demographic and price, I'd expect something a little nicer. Best lobster roll ever. Arugula beet salad and fried calamari were great as well.
Hooked?s lobster roll is stuffed with lobster, has minimal mayo, and is just plain delicious. Definitely my favorite lobster... roll in the Montauk area. Great fast casual joint with efficient service and plenty of outdoor seating. They also have avariety of alcoholic beverages available to enjoy with your meal. I?m looking forward to trying more of the menu during my nextvisit. Read more
Me and my girlfriend stopped by from our stay in the Hamptons and it was one of the greatest decisions we've ever made. Prices... are fair and the food is spectacular! The food is definitely worth trying and totally worth it, would definitely come back inthe future! Read more
We ordered Mahi and greens and a Mahi sandwich, also lobster bisque. The fish was cooked to perfection and delicious! The salad... and fries equally fresh and delicious. My husband loved the bisque as well. Very friendly owner! Read more
Delicious! Yummy! Delightful! But.. not sure if it was worth $27 for one lobster roll????. Maybe we are just lobster foodies,... but the best Lobster roll I ever had in my life was in Maine which had no Mayo, and instead, the bun was a special lobster rollbun not a hotdog bun. I don?t really like Mayo and they didn?t have a non-Mayo option so maybe that?s why I give it 4 stars. Wealso got the fish tacos which were yummy and looked gorgeous, but could have been better with some guac or avocado on top. Wedid absolutely enjoy it, I wish I could give it four and a half stars cuz realistically we?d give it 4.5 stars! But because itwasn?t the best lobster roll of our life, we can?t give it the full 5 stars. Otherwise very delicious and yummy. 10/10 calamari! CALAMARI was so good! Cracked pepper in the breading and the red sweet pepper sauce was the best part. Best I?ve... had ever. Good portions & really great customer service at the counter but the food itself was literally just l average. We were expecting... to be blown away based on other reviews but expectations felt short. Overall, I suggest you try them, each menu item isobviously different (we only had the shrimp boat which comes with fries).
