I always enjoy eating at Pollo Loco but today was different. The chicken nachos we're not the way they were supposed to be. We... asked them that we want it regular chicken and did not want shredded meat. We received you shredded meat and they refused to fixit. Second the AC was off and it was very hot inside the restaurant. I asked him if I could turn on the AC they said it was onbut I touched the air vents and they or in fact off. I told the young man on the register again but it seemed like they reallydidn't care. Prior of us leaving, I noticed the air was on but on their side behind the counter where the employees worked. Horrible! I use to love eating at the location. Lately I've noticed bad costumer service, they don't want to give you more then... 2 sauces even when you ask for more. I would always get a classic tostada salad. Today they made it horrible. Only had 4 piecesof chicken and they did not add pico de gallo. Read more
This is the worst location ever. Waited in line about 25-30 minutes. We get to the window to pay, good thing I looked at my... receipt it wasn't even what we ordered. Finally got that straightened out. We had ordered a regular guacamole and chips. Turnsout to be a small. Our quesadillas were cold. I ordered a coke they gave me diet. No salsa or anything. Customer service is usually nice, though they sure like to give you a hassle if you have any issues. It also gets very annoying... when they try to upsell at every corner of my order, though I understand they're unfortunately required to. Food is prettygood. Sometimes I get slightly stale tortillas or rice, but I don't mind this part much. So, why am I giving a 1 star? Letsbegin with one time where my food came with some grey blotches on it. I took it back to have them remake it, but for some reasonthey rejected my request and said that's normal and safe to eat while not elaborating what that is. I almost lost my patiencetrying to get it either refunded or get another made. I come back about a year later to order some mac and cheese with someburritos. There was the usual upselling, which I understand they are required to do. Whatever. When I got to a spot to eat Ifound the mac and cheese spilled all over my burritos. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to go back and point this out tothem, so I had a very messy dinner with probably some melted plastic from the bag it came with. Here's one more mishap: Iordered 2 burritos with no guacamole since my girlfriend and I are allergic to avocados. What do I find in one burrito? Youguessed it. Guac. We aren't deathly allergic but it's very annoying having your throat swell up a bit when you're eating adelicious burrito. I go back and ask to get it remade only to be told I can just scrape the guac off myself. I had to tell themI am allergic to it to get it made again.
