This place has been here a long time. It was known as Don Jose's when I was a kid, but the son has since taken over. It's OK... Mexican food. I like my food a little spicy, but this was good. They have a little smaller menu than some other Mexicanrestaurants, but what they have a stuff people would like. They give you some chips and salsa when you sit down. The chips arethin and tasty. The Salsa is ok, like I said I like mine a little on the spicy side, but I love me chips and salsaregardless. They have a large bar area that you can get a lot of different drinks. The also do a breakfast, but only onSunday. So may come back to try that out. Read more

Looking for a fantastic Mexican restaurant? Here ya go! Just slide into a cozy booth and begin munching fresh, hot tortilla... chips and zippy salsa! We have been enjoying meals here for over 35 years! It has changed staff, it's name and some menu items,but the delicious menu options continue to delight! The chicken chimichanga is simply the best.....heaped with melted cheese,sour cream and fresh made guacamole. There's a nice selection of cocktails, as well. Our waiter was terrific! He actually put the dishes thoughtfully where they would go and was very attentive and considerate of... what we might need. And of course, the food is always exceptional. The 3 item combo is a good deal... 3 meals' worth! Can'tbeat it...well except for the fajitas! That's at least 4 or 5 meals! Our home a away from home. ???? UPDATE: We went on Mondayevening the last couple of times and everything was as good as ever. The wait staff is attentive and considerate and the good isalways great. The only negative is that often when we come there is no hostess to greet and seat us. This is since Covid, so Ichalk it up to that This last time, however, no hostess showed up for 2 minutes. She looked like her grandmother just died andshe hated being there. If we didn't already know how great the food and rest of the service is, we might not have stuck around.And yes, it is definitely worth it! Read more

???? the absolute best Mexican food I've EVER eaten from a restaurant ANYWHERE. I've eaten Mexi-food ???????? in Florida, Texas,... Arizona, SoCal, MEXICO ????????; this was by FAR the tastiest and most well prepared food of all. Deliciously marinated andseasoned, rice and beans were even well seasoned. We got a healthy mix of regular food and seafood; all was great! Food wasprepared on time and expertly packed with a good amount of extra sauces for everything. Establishment has gone through a few different name changes. Big bar area with dining tables available. TV s for sports. We... prefer the booth section which is a bit more quiet and only visible to another table booth or 2. Food is satisfactory, but$$$. Service is always good and quick. Read more
