First time here and it was an Absolutely awesome experience with a side of great tasting food worth the 15 min wait! lol all... jokes aside Jon our server was on point always checked on us & kept us informed on our orders,etc. food came out fast and it wasdelicious and so tasteful. The desserts are wonderful, and the service is friendly. The menu has a lot of options. Food is solid - not the best Cuban I've... had but certainly not bad. The yuca fries were chewy and the rice was a bit plain, but the steak was awesome (especially thesauce). The flan was phenomenal. The restaurant has a fun vibe! Read more
I went to this place for dinner on a Friday. The place is located in Montclair, got a really good ambience. The food is really... good. I likes the calamari. Also, they have good seafood options. I would recommend the seafood paella. They have both indoorand outdoor sitting and got street parking. Read more
Cuban Pete’s offer an extensive menu of delicious Latin cuisine. It’s a fairly huge place and has both indoor & outdoor... seatings. The place is clean, lively, and decorated with vibrant colors that gives you the feeling of an island flair. It’s agreat place for gatherings or if you just want to hang out and enjoy a meal. They have choices of mixed virgin drinks, bring abottle (BYOB) and you’re good to go. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Thank you so much Sebastian J., for theexcellent service you provided. Decided to treat my hubby to red snapper for Father’s Day and Cuban Pete’s did not disappoint! Had the Coconut Shrimp with... mango salsa & cheese coconut rice, delicious! Great music and atmosphere, I suggest sitting in their inner courtyard. Alsoit’s BYOB so bring wine, rum, or tequila to add to fruit or sangria mixers by the pitcher. Wonderful mix of culture and fine food. Excellent atmosphere, music, nice vibes and great people. Waiters were very kind and... polite. Had such a great time. Definitely 5 stars. During our dinner, a band came out with drums and started pounding away.Awesome fun. The food was even better! Calamari is absolutely spectacular!! The Churasco steak with mango sauce, coconut riceand sweet potatoe were a great choice! Simply DELICIOUS ????....Definitely recommend trying Cuban Pete's if you've never triedit. Great food. We have been to this restaurant many times, and are never disappointed. They have a great selection of delicious... entrees and tasty appetizers. Today we got baby back ribs and vegetable paella. It was really good. The rice and beans thatcame with the ribs had just the right amount of spices and was moist and tender. We were invited to dinner here. The ambience is so dope and the restaurant Is kind of split up into 2 sides. The menu was... authentic Cuban food and tasted like such also. Alcohol isn’t served here but it is BYOB, and they offer premade mixers ofpunch, mojitos, etc … our waiting was friendly and attentive. I had the seafood stew (I think that’s the name) it was reallygood!!! I would go back just for this soup alone. It wasn’t spicy but u could add spice if you liked and it was super tasty. Read more
