Excellent! We ordered the tuna crudo, zucchini flower stuffed with crab (special), agnolotti, pork chop and chocolate torte! The... agnolotti was good, not great; but everything else was AMAZING! The pork chop was one of the best I’ve ever had! The servicewas excellent and ambiance was very nice. Love that it’s BYOB. We brought wine but people at a table near us didn’t and theywere able to have a local liquor store deliver some (it’s a partnership between the restaurant and liquor store) - genius!Will definitely be back! Service was great. The food was very good. I had the salmon. In fact three of us had salmon and each ordered it cooked... differently. When it came we could tell the difference between medium, medium well, and well done. It is a BYOB place. The firstthing you notice about the atmosphere is that it is noisy. Came here for my fiancé’s birthday, service was great (otherwise would give 2 stars), but would not come back for food... quality. We ordered the squid ink pasta and lamb shank. Squid ink pasta taste so blend that I still can’t taste anything afterI washed my mouth down. And I have had squid ink paste at several other places too. I've been looking to try more upscale restaurants to expand my palette and this place did not disappoint. The Octopus and Raw... Oyster appetizers were absolutely delicious and all their pasta options were fantastic! The food overall is on a completelydifferent level; everything blended together so wonderfully to create an amazing gastronomic experience. It's truly artistic theway all the flavours come together! The staff made us feel extremely welcomed and it felt like home. I came here to celebrate mybirthday and they even had a card and dessert ready for me! I'll be coming here for the rest of my life and bringing all myfamily and friends whenever I can! Read more
fascino was fantastic years ago, but during a recent visit, it was just ok. the ambiance is super casual and the lighting much... too bright. charred octopus seemed prepared someplace else and sauteed, it wasn't served at the right temp and the flavor wasdull. we didn't stay for entrees. our server was kind but lacked experience. Such a great dining experience at Fascino! The food was amazing and we loved that it was a BYOB. The romaine salad was... phenomenal. We also ordered the sea bass & hanger steak! Portions were perfect for us. The peach crostini was wonderful as well,not overly sweet. The birthday card was a beautiful touch, I have never received that at a restaurant! Fascino is one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve been here for dinner numerous times and they never disappoint. There are so... many things to love about this place (ambiance, service, price, creativity) but I think why I love it so much is that they servejust the right portions so that you leave satisfied after an amazingly delicious meal and not just full. Their portions are justthe right size and their menu seems to change just enough to keep the consistent delicious plates while still introducing newitems.
