great place. i ordered dinner to go on a rainy night and their staff was so helpful getting it out to me - i had a nice feeling... before taking a bite. i had the fresco salad and gnocchi and still can’t choose which i ?? more. fresh, delicious andauthentic flavors. tastes like what my dear italian friends will make at home to impress their guests! truly looking forward tomy next meal there. All the dishes we ordered tasted great, quantity was pretty decent Cocktails were good but not that strong. Overall, our group... had a good dining experience. The day we visited their AC was not working so it was too hot for us to actually enjoy themeal. While most of the Staff seemed to be pleasant, we felt like the person who waited on us was kept ignoring us except forwhen he came to get our orders. I would have given 3 Stars if not for the quality of the Food, and the rest of the Staff'sattitude. Read more
Very good food and one of the few full bars in the area. Beautiful space in an ideal Church Street location. However, I... recommend they work on their bar, possibly even revisiting its placement and setup. Liquor licenses in Montclair are rare andexpensive so would be great if there was a viable new entrant in this market. Unfortunately this bar is small with very fewseats, lacks basic selections like beer and needs a better variety of standard and top shelf liquors. It is fairly expensive butappropriate for the high quality although they may also consider offering a few specials / lower priced menu items - combinedwith a better bar area this would drive considerably more traffic to this lovely restaurant. Every time that I am in the area, this is a must. The mojitos are amazing. The salmon wrapped in asparagus was superb. For... dessert, the apple cobbler couldn't be beat. I highly recommend this place. Read more
Very underwhelming everience from a place I had high hopes for. We arrived for our reservation and were greeted by the hostes on... the phone with another customer about their reservation the whole conversation lasted about 5 minutes but seemed very intensefor what it was worth. We were seated and after a few minutes priovided water and bread but when I asked the bus boy to open thewine he told me he would get the waiter and we had to wait. We waited for 20 minutes before a waiter made eye contact with usand asked if we were okay…I asked if we had a waiter and he said he would be serving us. He did not introduce himself,apologize, or even provide us with a menu. He asked us for our appetizer order and enterees as all orders had to go in at thesame time. we tried ordering from the “all day” menu and he stated they were only serving brunch but would check if it wasposible, mind you it was around 2pm at this point. He came back and told us he was able to put our orders in. We noticed thatall parities after us were provide with paper menus where as we where not. The server offered us a free apatizer in addition towhat we ordered but I would have perfered to just have been comped for the app we already ordered. It took a great deal ofeffort to get service. I understand it was a busy weekend but this was during the lunch hour so it was not full house. The foodwas good, but I would not come back again especially since they won’t by BYOB anymore. Great ambiance, nice service, but unfortunately, food was flavorless. Grilled octopus wasn't grilled, Pesto salmon and broccoli... didn't have ANY seasoning, no salt at all. Risotto wasn't bad though. Cocktails were good Read more

Nice modern decor coupled with exposed brick. Staff was friendly and attentive. Menu had a wide variety of options. Autumn... panzanella was especially good . Everyone was happy with their meal. Wines were reasonably priced. The pumpkin martini is amust! Read more
