This place was beautiful inside and out I loved how the string lights hung from the ceiling the pizza was very very tasty we had... meatballs on one and something like a pepperoni on the other The pizzas were on the small side if you are really hungry you caneat a pie by yourself (WE DID????) the waitress we had was awesome and on point she went over the menu very well and answeredany questions we had... The drinks were tasty and the alcohol was definitely in them.. while on my way to the bathroom I noticeda ATM on the wall. ALTHOUGH I enjoyed the food I don't think I'll go back here again because of the street parking. Read more

I'm a savvy Porta veteran, having been to both the Jersey City and Asbury Park locations before. The pizza is very tasty, and... the two aforementioned locations juggle an interesting balancing act between a bougie wood-fired Neapolitan pizzeria and anightclub (my understanding is that they both literally are nightclubs when the sun goes down). This location is a littledifferent from its predecessors. For one, the ceiling isn't nearly as high and the outdoor seating options are more limited -understandably so. You don't have nearly the room to play with on Bloomfield Ave as you do a block or two from the Asburyboardwalk. That's not to say that the space is unpleasant; far from it. It's pleasant and inviting, even if it's arguably notquite as hip as its siblings. My noble chum and I stopped by for lunch on a recent Saturday afternoon. There were a fewoccupied tables, but we were there pretty early and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Everyone we interacted with was veryfriendly and professional, and that's been true at all three locations. Props to their HR team (not sure if restaurants have HRteams). Both of us decided to be a little naughty and went for some classic brunch cocktails, mimosa for her, bellini for me(both $8). My chum confirmed the inclusion of pulp in the mimosa, so I'm glad I opted for a drink that I didn't have to eat halfof. The bellini was good, though not the best I've had, which coincidentally was down the street in Bloomfield at Blue Steel. Itdidn't have quite the zip as that one, but Blue Steel has some of the best cocktails in the area, so it might not be a faircomp. At my strong urging, we ordered the fresh mozzarella ($10) with a side of bread ($2 extra). It is a delight, and I ammystified that every pizza/Italian restaurant doesn't do this. I would pay for this on the table automatically in lieu ofstandard bread/butter (which I'm definitely not opposed to either). Whether she wasn't as enthused as I was or because she Read more

Enjoyed every appetizer. My salad was fresh and perfectly dressed. My pasta was cooked perfectly and sauced just right. My... boyfriend?s Italian grandparents would approve of the meatballs. All the red sauce was great. Maybe just a touch saltier thanI?d like but still enjoyable. Cocktails were also delish. Will absolutely return. Read more

Enjoyed cocktails and a pizza on a Tuesday date. The drinks were quite good. I enjoyed their variation on an Old Fashioned,... and the other whisky cocktail was sweeter than I usually go for but was still good. The pizza tasted quite good but the crustwasn?t crispy despite being blackened. Our server was prompt, friendly, and took care of us adeptly. Read more

The girls and I got together to try this new restaurant. When I arrived I was lucky to find parking in the lower parking lot... nearby. When I walked in, it was a packed house. I found my party and sat. Brittany was our server and she was cool, she wasjust MIA a lot through the night. I started with a red wine carafe that I split with one of the girls. The wine wasn't bad. Fordinner I got the vegan sausage pizza and it looked pretty good when it came out. The problem was it wasn't cooked good. It wasvery wet when I picked it up. It pretty much fell apart and I couldn't eat the crust because it was burnt. One of the girls gotthe octopus and she said it was tough and one other girl got pasta and she said it was dry. The food wasn't great. The bill wasdecent. All in all we had a ok time. Read more
