The food is great, per each person in our 5 group party. The service tho? Needs improvement. They either need to hire more... waitstaff or hire someone who understands how to manage the floor. Seriously. We sat down and it took 20 minutes for someone totake our order. I totally didn’t know the initial person who gave us water, was our waitress. She never said her name. Butundoubtedly, she was working HARD. Full night and only 2 waiters. And the space is cozy and bright, so you may see themanagement staff standing by the walls just watching. A little awkward. I would definitely go back. That strawberry butterneeds to be sold in large quantities. Fried chicken, greens, Mac n cheese, SWEET POTATO PIE! Whew. So good! But that strawberrybutter tho! Read more

Last night I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely gem. Upon entering I was stunned by the classy decor, and the friendly... greeter. My waiter Davon was very friendly and offered excellent service. The food was out this world amazing, it really gave metaste of home(south). The okras were fried just right, and loved the sauce that came with it. The chicken was fried toperfection and seasoned well. I had Mac & Cheese and Stuffing for my side, I almost passed out because it was really good. Thestuffing with the gravy will melt right in your mouth. I met few more of the staff there and they were friendly. Although theydo not serve alcohol, they had an option for it to be delivered. I was greatly satisfied with my visit. I will highly recommend, and I will defiantly be back soon. Support Black Owned Businesses! Read more

Wow! Loved this spot. I haven’t been able to try southern eats in a while. When I saw this I had to stop in. There are a lot... of good options to try, but I definitely wanted to try the fried chicken. What I love is besides the fried the food still has ahealthy kick to it. Loved the black eyed peas and collard greens! Super fulfilling. They do charge 20% tip automatically on thebill, was a bit unexpected took the fun out of tipping to your own accord but besides that it was super cool vibe. Definitelywant to go back in due time and try some of the other options. Read more

I don't know if this is the best Southern Eatery out here.. But it is the best that I have tried so far, so I feel the 5 Star is... deserved. I have been here twice as a part of a large group and all of our dishes were perfectly prepared and tasted great, both times. Service was pretty good as well and the staff friendly Read more

Sweet T’s is an experience complimented by the most delicious foods, beverages and amazingly attentive staff. My mom and I had... the Crispy Chicken, greens, mac n’ cheese, salmon cakes, fried shrimp, deviled eggs, berry cobbler, sweet tea and peach tea(wanted to try stuff and I’m greedy). We loved everything. Can’t wait to go back for brunch. Oh and my mom loved the music.#MeToo Read more

This was my first time here and I could honestly say I'll be back, The waitress (meme) was wonderful. The wings from the start... was good full of flavor. [The main course] I had the fried chicken and yams, collard greens if you like spicy greens this foryou. (Not for me because I can't have spicy food). My daughter had the beef ribs grilled cheese sandwich that was excellentalong with the Mac & Cheese they could cook the noodles longer but still it was good. All in all I give this restaurant a verygood review. Read more

All soul minus the salt!! But I think that’s a good thing!! The owner was very accommodating. Food: •shrimp starter is not... tiny, even with a count of 5, you could easily order a side or two and be full with those. They were good! •deviled eggs wereok, I would have loved a little more relish in them •cornbread and biscuits were good, and they have a tasty strawberry butterwith them •I really enjoyed the turkey wings and the collard greens •yams were delicious and mac and cheese was definitelycheesing • catfish and beef rib were yummy too •byob beer and wine (no bar) •sweet tea was on point but had just beenbrewed so it was a bit warm I would definitely return and recommend. You need to make a reservation though, and they wereclosing at 10 pm on a Friday night . On Street parking can be tough. I appreciate how the food wasn’t overly salted. Cutedecor as well! Read more

Let's start by saying know where you're eating. This place is awesome. It's a healthier version to Southern soul food. You're on... your own for free street parking. On a Sunday night parking wasn't an issue. Staff is very friendly and the place has a goodvibe, not too loud. We had reservations because it was an hour away and wanted to seal a spot. It was busy, but there wereseveral open tables. We had the corn bread with strawberry butter---I could eat the butter on it's own, it was SO good-sweet andsmooth. The cornbread was your average corn bread, not dried out, and had that crisp taste, along with the butter, let's justsay I didn't wanna share but I did. We had fried wings, they were delightful, but needed sauce (which we dipped it in Buffalosauce). Breading was a tad on the bland side, but so crispy and juicy meat, dip it in sauce and you're good!! Dinner: shrimpand grits w/turkey sausage- this was SO SO good--possible the best pick of the night (besides that darn good butter). My pickyhusband even loved the turkey sausage catfish w/collard greens and potato salad-this was delicious, but not crispy catfish. Thecatfish was moist, but seemed baked and not fried---which it was really good, but don't expect crispy. My husband asked fortarter sauce but it never came so he dipped it in hot suace. Potato salad was heavy on the mustard. Collard greens was withsmoked turkey, but really good IMO. Chicken and waffles---it was fried wings (large wings) on waffles. Both were very good, butwings are difficult to enjoy w/waffles. It was doable, but I prefer chicken that's easier to cut through---it didn't stop mefrom loving it, I just ate the chicken with my hands, like a savage. And enjoyed every minute of it We will be returning to trytheir other items we wanted to try. Just really good food, really nice staff and a little healthier than most. Read more
