I loved the bulgogi kimbap! The short rib plate was also delicious. The plate comes with a side of stew ( your choice) . Cannot... think if one negative thing about this place. This place is DELICIOUS! It's a hidden GEM in the City of Montebello. But it is a family Korean owned restaurant. With Covid-19... regulations they don't have inside dining yet but they have an outside setup. The food is freshly made. Portions are great forthe price and did I mentioned DELICIOUS? The staff is friendly, the place is clean, well lit, and free parking is available. Nopublic restrooms. Definitely coming back! ???? Read more
I probably came out as rude and I'm sorry but omg when I ate what I ordered I was in heaven the food was so delicious and thank... you so much for it god bless your hands it was DELICIOUS! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND I'll put a photo so you can see what it was butthe name wasn't on the menu. If you're looking for some Korean comfort food, then Tomato Korean restaurant is the place to go. It's a family owned restaurant... with great service and food! Cheese potato pancake: Super massive and delicious! It was about the size of a 10 in pizza! Ididn't expect it to be this big. Before opening the box, I was already able to smell the cheesiness goodness of the pancake. Thepancake was a combination of cheese, mixed with shredded potatoes pan fried to its cheesy goodness. I would definitely orderthis again and try their other pancakes. Bulgogi Kimbap: I liked how all the ingredients used were very fresh; didn't feellike a heavy dish. Kimchi bacon fried rice: Although it was a bit on the oily side, it was very flavorful and not too spicy.Would definitely order again.
