This is a great plus for this neighborhood which is not from the cannery by the beach. This small but inviting Mexican... restaurant is an all vegan restaurant but the food looks like real beef or chicken and tastes great too. I?m not fully vegan butdon?t mind at all eating here. Overall, 10 out of 10 rating for this restaurant, specially if you want to transition intobecoming vegan or if you enjoy vegan food or if you?re like me and enjoy both then this is the restaurant to go to when you feellike having Mexican food. An incredible gem, this place is. I?ve never had anything nearly as close as this place in terms of quality vegan food. And I?ve... never before seen a Mexican restaurant dedicated to serving a vegan menu. Everything here is fresh, full of flavor, and mostimportantly, healthy!! Always a treat when I stop by. Read more
We wanted to go get some lunch after the aquarium. We're usually in the area around Saturday, which they are not open. Today... we were in the area and finally went for lunch. The menu is so large and hard to pick just one item. I wanted a sample platteralmost. I decided to get the mole with a horchata. It was good just not mind blowing. A fully vegan Mexican Restaurant! WOW it didn?t disappoint, seemed like a family run restaurant. Such a large variety of food,... we were absolutely spoilt for choice, highly recommend eating here. I am so glad I was craving Mexican food. This VEGAN and ORGANIC restaurant was truly amazing. I enjoyed every bite knowing that... the owners created a restaurant that embodies the Mexican food experience without the suffering of meat and dairy. And organicto boot! Was very excited to try out all Vegan Mexican restaurant, sadly highly disappointed. How messed up they can be???????? it?s... appalling. In California one can except authentic and super delicious Mexican food even in a food truck, let alone arestaurant. First off all we had to pay for chips and salsa!!! Secondly the food had no taste no zing no flavour. For the priceand taste I feel I wasted my last evening in Carmel by the sea and money. It?s vegan that?s a plus point but hey we do get goodMexican food even in a non vegan restaurant, anywhere! Would not recommend this place. Wasted time and money and my tummy space. Read more
We have had a lot of tacos and are hard to impress, but this place delivered! Everything we had was delicious, and you'd never... know the ingredients were vegan (except perhaps the cheese). Limited seating but perfect for a quick stop or takeout. Read more
