What a find! Perfect for our family that prefers to eat outside at local parks. They only serve take out. The menu is extensive... and we probably got carried away ordering but everything we got was so good. There were many items on the menu you wouldn?tnormally see at a Japanese restaurant. The ingredients were fresh. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were spot on.Take the time to also look at the snacks/desserts they have in the store. I wish we had made to order bentos closer to home. Weeven got treated to a rainbow at nearby Window on the Bay Park. Read more

We are in Monterey for the week and were looking for no-frills sushi since we are traveling with an infant. Ocean Sushi Deli... popped up on our search and we are so glad it did. The staff was so friendly and the food was good! The prices were reasonableas well. We are already thinking about going back again before the end of the week. Read more
A little piece of Japan in Monterey Bay. This shop has a ton of authentic Japanese products and food. They have great flavor and... vegan and gluten free options. Excellent cafe that's been around long enough that I've been going there for more than fifteen years. Feels like very little has... changed in that time. Good food, good service, free tea. Feels a lot more like a place you'd actually find in Japan than manymore upscale places do. It's a staple and icon of downtown Monterey. Read more
This used to be a nice place to go for good sushi but since COVID they decided to continue their business To Go only. Bad... decision. It's not the same anymore. I would suggest to give to paint, change the chairs and.offer a great opening! It will bebetter than seeing all the chairs and tables piled up all over the place. Read more
