Ventured here in the evening at a recommendation from our hotel. The chowder exceeded the expectations. It is deliciously creamy... and had a fair amount of clams. The cup was very filling. We started with the half dozen oysters, which came with cocktailsauce, horseradish, and lemons. They were fresh, tasty, but not a very meaty variety. One of our meal's was the Captain's plate, which was played beautifully and was recommended by the waiter. My 17yo son said it was good, but he wasn't blown away. The onething to note is that they do not have a children's menu, nor do they have have servings. So, my 8yo had to order an oversizedportion of spaghetti and meatballs for $25. I ate two of the meatballs, and felt they were very well seasoned with fresh herbs.Another side note, they require a purchase of $15/person, so you can't just stroll in for the chowder, however they have a walkup stand if you'd like to enjoy a cup or bowl. The best seafood I have ever had! The ultimate pasta has a large amount of seafood, and 3 colors of pasta. The service is great!... I feel very respected. And the server gave me a rose which made my day. I had a really bad week this week, and this helps mefeel much better. Read more

The restaurant is on the pier and so you have a good view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. See photos. The service was... excellent, Jose being friendly and attentive, even though busy, with a nice warm smile. The food was delicious. The clam chowderwas just the way we like it on the thicker side, nicely seasoned, full of clams and not too many potato bits. See photo. TheSeafood Linguine Isabella was more food than I expected and not skimpy on the seafood part. See photo. Read more

The gentleman host I think was named Shake? Was a very nice gentleman and got us a table in quick order, the server I think was... named Gustavo was a very informative and attentive server who gave us the run down of everything they serve and what is popularand his personal favorites and he did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and well prepared, definitely coming back again.I like the atmosphere and classic 50s music kind of a romantic atmosphere with candlelight and at the end of the dining theygive you a rose, how thoughtful, this is a perfect spot for a date with your significant other. To the people who have childrenthis place does not allow children or strollers so just be forewarned this is just for adults. If you have children I would liketo eat something similar you can probably go to The fish Hopper down the way they are owned by the same people and the food isfantastic there as well. Read more

Amazing food! We had the Abalone and Pistachio crusted Ling special followed by Creme Brulee. Beautiful dishes and so good. I... can't say enough about the policy for quiet atmosphere. This isn't considered enough in restaurants. Parents should NEVER beoffended by a policy implemented that supports clean, quiet environments. Just because you like loud obnoxious environmentsdoesn't mean we all do. Not to mention, it's impossible to get food out of carpet, so most restaurants smell dank. There are amillion other options for child friendly dining. Read more

Get the garlic bread bowl!!! They add extra crab meat to the chowder and bake the bread bowl with garlic butter!! The pasta... dishes are usually great. The calamari batter is light and crisp comes w horseradish and cocktail sauce. The oysters are alwaysfresh. The service is always great here, they are professional and show some love during dinner service with a nice rose. Read more

Love the ambience of the crooner music and the upscale feel. They don't allow loud children to interrupt a relaxing meal and... even have signage outside to delineate that. Some might find that a bit snooty but I appreciate that. I don't mind my loudgrandchildren at home or outdoors but at a nice restaurant it's just one of my pet peeves. The sourdough chowder bowl wasoutstanding. Enjoy. Read more

My husband and I walked in on a Sunday evening and were seated right away! Miguel was a great server. We ordered the clam... chowder bread bowl with garlic butter, which never disappoints, along with the avocado crab seafood tower. This is definitelythe best spot for clam chowder and we will continue to return! Additionally, we loved the atmosphere, interior and the rose atthe end of the meal. Read more
