We visited this hotel restaurant and bar for breakfast on a Saturday before visiting the aquarium. We weren't guests of the... hotel but were still nicely greeted and there is a clearly marked restaurant entrance that invites you off the street. (AlthoughI would love to stay here, the views from the restaurant are amazing and must be better from the rooms). We ordered a few simplebreakfast items, coffee and a screwdriver (cheers!). All items were delicious (the breakfast potatoes are great!). The servicewas a bit of a wait but I'm sure it's from staffing issues and it being a busy Saturday, summer morning. I love this hotel and the restaurant but haven’t been back for quite awhile. The services, decor, food and drinks are still... very good but it’s a bit pricey (we are on our 3rd year of COVID, everything is getting expensive, gas is $6 per gallon). Ihad a great dinner and would recommend it to anyone. Read more

Got a table outside with an oceanview. Incredibly attentive staff (Sharon)...Fresh seafood, intricate dishes. We ordered ceviche... for appetizer, and seabass for entrée. When we visit Monterey again, we will definitely come here. Read more
This restaurant is such a gem! Every single surface was spotless and every single staff member was so attentive and professional... while maintaining friendliness and warmth. The view is beyond compare, so be sure to make reservations noting a window table(though every seat has a pretty great view). The warm rosemary bread with goat cheese butter topped with lemon olive oil isstellar! I'd be remiss if I skipped the dessert; the Baked California is outstanding!!! Excellent! This was the restaurant downstairs in our hotel. We dined as a large family group and the staff was accommodating and... served us well. My family was very happy with their food orders. We plan to attend again when we visit Monterey next year. Theyare located a half a block from the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Read more
