An LA original beautifully restored. ???? We watched the sun set on the patio and later took in the view of the city lights. We... were hesitant when we seen the new menu, but everything was delicious. Karen was our server and she gave us the bestrecommendations. She asked all the right questions and knew exactly what we would love. We had a party of six. We share theempanadas to start. I ordered the prime flat iron steak and substituted the duck fat fries with patatas bravas. I woulddefinitely order that again. Thank you Karen!! Ignacio, you made our evening when you stopped by to greet us. Most of our familymemories at Luminarias include Ignacio checking in on every guest making us feel at home. What a blessing! One word Phenomenal… I couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. This was my wife’s 50th Birthday... celebration and she thoroughly enjoyed her evening. The room and decor were exquisite. The food was outstanding, fresh andextremely flavorful. The staff were very professional and kept guest satisfaction at the forefront. Special shout out goes toMaria, at guest relations for all her assistance leading up to our event. Her knowledge of the venue and event planning made fora smooth process. Great Luminarias revival. They redid the whole restaurant, brand new menu, new staff and great flavorful food and drinks.
I just recently found out about this hidden gem and I was so pleased right from the ease of parking to being greeted right away... upon arrival. I got the best seating with hilltop view and all of the staff was prompt, friendly and gave warm greeting. Themenu has reasonably priced, tasteful food in a simple easy to read layout. Crystal was my server and she was so nice andinformative, even kept up my kids refills. When it got chilly as the sunset they turned on the heat lamps, I felt like I couldstay there all night, no rush. It was busy so I was sure to make reservation beforehand, but I was seated with absolutely nowait and the food came out fast and was delicious! We will definitely be coming back again! Came here for a family event. We reserved a room with 4 tables. There was only 1 server, who was serving us food. I saw him... running around and serving us food, but at the same time he remembered we need extra things for our table. Service wasexcellent. Food was decent. Ribeye steak was overcooked. Cheesecake was ok. Went to the bar for a can of Diet Coke, but ittasted like club soda. I went back to the bartender and told him about that. He gave me a pitcher of Diet Coke, which tastedmuch better than the Diet Coke from the can. The service was definitely over powered the quality of the food, but I’ll stillcome back because of the service. Read more
Beautiful location, the view is spectacular. The food is flavorful. Michael, the bartender is the nicest. The restaurant manager... David is very efficient and polite.
