Don?t believe the fake positive reviews. I spent $10 plus tax and tip on their Bacon Turkey Sandwich. While I wasn?t expecting... to be amazed, I at least expected something that might fill me up. After a 25 minute wait (with only one person ahead of me whowas handed a small bag of food) what I received was what can be described as sack lunch quality: 2 thin slices of lunch meat, 2bacon strips, a leaf of green lettuce, 2 tomato slices on small store bought sandwich bread. No condiments. One could fit 3 ofthese into a Subway sandwich the same price. I?m unimpressed, still hungry, and cannot recommend this criminally overpriced,mediocre food. Reminded me of the $4 prepackaged sandwiches one finds at gas stations, only smaller. Read more

We love the Crows Nest! Happened upon this great family run restaurant on our way home from the coast. The nice people working... there told us it had been there for 42+ years! The food was what I remember from my childhood at the best burgerplaces! Burgers hot off the grill with melted cheese topped with ice-cold tomatoes and lettuce on a toasted bun! That great frysauce for dipping big hot crispy fries in! Yum! And real hand dipped ice cream! Their menu includes baskets, shakes and evenbreakfast earlier in the day! They also have a kids menu, seafood, hot/cold sandwiches, corn/hot dogs, Deep fried mushrooms,onion rings, big salads (Chef, taco...), assorted Mexican fast-food favorites, Budget Bandit Menu, Shakes/Malts/Floats, Sundaes,Banana Splits... Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Raspberry, Blackberry, Pineapple, Butterscotch, Root Beer, Hot Fudge FreshBanana or Peanut Butter - all berry flavors made with high quality sliced berry syrups. I stopped here to use the bathroom and figured I'd grab a small burger to hold me over for the next 2 hours drive. I decided to... try the Crow's Nest Special. This burger almost took my life. It was so good I just about drove my car off the road. Luckily Iwas able to find a place to safely pull over and finish it. Though it took me another 15 minutes after finishing this amazingpiece of Burger art to regain my composure and talk myself out of driving back to get another. Two Small pieces of fish in the fish fries meal and its over $12.00. After eating the meal im left with almost what I started... with. One piece of fish was good with only a little rubbery parts, but the other piece was all rubber. Potato salad was like thestore bought kind. The Fries Tarter and fry sauce were good . I gave it 3 stars due to the staff. The young people employed there are super friendly and just really nice kids. Now the bad.... Apparently ownership changed and several items on the menu went away. No chili dogs or even just chili. Taco salad is gone also.Anything the new owners consider Mexican food is off the menu. Not sure how Chili is Mexican. Just really disappointed becausesome of my favorite items are gone now. As stated above. The employees are great. If not for them, I would have given this placemaybe 2 stars at best. Read more
