Good home style cooking, friendly staff and good service.
Stopped by Thursday after hiking in Lake Sylvia State Park. My wife had the build your own burger she enjoyed. I ordered the... seafood Fettuccini which was very good, big chunk of salmon and clams, pasta in a garlic butter source. Comes with a piece ofgarlic bread which I would call Texas Toast and my only complaint about the food was the salad and the slaw she ordered with herburger, they were pretty sad looking. Other than that it was a good experience. One other observation is the beer, they had Mac& Jack on tap and I like it but they serve it in whats best described as jars. Being a beer drinker from way back I prefer aregular beer glass. I was told the glass resembles a can. Now what's the sense in that? If I wanted by beer container to looklike a can I would have ordered a can. Nice restaurant, lovely server and I would recommend it. Read more
Exceptional place to eat. We had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Very good portion and salmon was fantastic. We also had the... coconut crusted prawns. Nothing short of amazing. The service was great and the bathrooms are clean. Read more
Clean, good service, I've only been for breakfast, once I had the bone in ham and the second, the house made corn beef hash. The... included hash browns were cook to perfection browned, not burnt, not soggy. Potatoes done right are a marvelous treat. Hope tobe back after omnicron dies down. Read more
The service was great and the decor is interesting to check out. The food leaves a bit to be desired. Had the fisherman's basket... and it had the taste and texture of frozen fish sticks. GF said her fish was like that you get out of a box in the freezersection. Read more
We've driven by this restaurant for years and I'm glad we finally had the time to stop in for a meal. With fishing themed... decorations and a menu with plenty of options we were in for a treat. We enjoyed the Denver Omelet and the eggs and sausages.Very pleased with the breakfasts. Shout out to the hardest working server I've seen in a long time. She was all alone to seatcustomers, take their orders and clean the tables, and did a great job! I'm sure I will eat here again. Read more
Stopped here on a road trip and had the basket of coconut shrimp and fries with a side of cole slaw. All were delicious!! Food... was served very fresh and hot. The folks working the restaurant were also very friendly. I could tell that there are a lot ofregulars who adore the place, too. Read more
