Great place to watch the game! The single most important aspect of a sports bar to me is TV placement and the second is... atmosphere. Baumhower's is great for both. Everywhere I looked I had a great view of a TV and the crowd was also clearly intothe game. I had a starter of bang bang fried shrimp and absolutely loved it. My main course was wings and they did a really goodjob on the wings. I prefer my wings a bit more crispy than these came out but they were still really good. I was disappointed inthe size of the wings so next time I'll have to order more wings. I did finish up with chocolate pecan pie so it was a fullcourse meal for me. I'll definitely be coming back. Absolutely the best food experience we have had in years! The Gooey burger was the best burger I have had in years. It went to... my number 1 burger spot. My husband had the gooeywingbowl and it was delicious as well. The sweet tea was perfect! The friedbanana pudding was recommended by Eric and did not disappoint at all!!! We are definitely going to be coming back to theMontgomery location every time we are close to the area. We even texted our daughter and told her that from now on we will bestaying in Montgomery so we can eat here every time we travel to Louisiana. The photo is the fried banana pudding! Coming from out of state, we decided to eat here for the night. We did not regret it! Great food! We got the wings, fried... pickles, shrimp tacos. Everything was on POINT!! Service was a little slow but the food made up for it! Read more
I remember when bauhmowers used to be good. It used to be fun, and the food used to be awesome. Now....not so much. I sat at the... bar and ordered the large wings with a side of gooey fries and I've never been more disappointed in a meal than I have here. Myfries were cold and just depressing looking and my wings....were tiny and overcooked. The fries seemed and tasted like they sayin the window for a while and there was hardly any flavor to them...which is weird considering they were one of my favoritesyears ago. The wings were small....but the sauce was good. The issue with the wings is they are advertising them by a count andnot a weight anymore...and with the size of these things.. it should be done by weight. My bartender seemed more concerned withhitting on staff and just watching TV than actually working. Loved everything about this place. From the friendly greetings when we entered, to the fresh hot bag of popcorn we got before we... were seated. My hamburger steak, mushroom gravy on garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread were perfect. The Italian green beanscooked with potatoes and ham while peppery were a little salty for my taste, but my partner enjoyed them. He ordered the HotBrown which is accompanied by a side of mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. I can't say enough about our server Ty. Dinner was very good and we had great service. The fried pickles were awesome, hand breaded, yummy!
