This place is under a new name with new ownership. Most of the food was decent but not good enough for me to come back. ... Vegetables were the best part. All the meats were floating in water, I presume to keep moist but a turn off for me. My wifeenjoyed her food more than I did. It looked like they moved in and kept everything from the past restaurant, no real attempt tomake it look new or fresh. Hopefully they will improve as they find their groove. Read more

If u could give it a zero I would the food was terrible.my meat was red in the inside, my rice was hard, there was a limited of... selections,and nothing tasted good.the salad bar had more selections...and the price was entirely to high when there isn'tenough food to choose from. I feel like I've just shown up late to a family reunion without bringing a dish. The selection on this buffet mimics the family... table with so many old time favorites like cabbage soup, fried green tomatoes, squash casserole, blackeyed peas and cornbread,pork chops, baked chicken and bread pudding. The diverse choice for the price is spot-on. The wait staff was helpful and notpushy. If I didn't live three hours away, this would be my go-to restaurant!!! I absolutely love it! Read more

The buffet is so small, that I didn't consider it a buffet for the price it was. The food was not genuine home cooking of... course. My waitress was very nice and helpful. Being from out of town, this place was on a main highway. The signs caught mymother's eye. We saw nothing that said buffet, how small the building was she thought this was a home cooking menu restaurant. Iwas literally shocked at the size of place with 2 short buffet tables of food, 1 of bread and something, and 1 big buffet tableof fruit and whatever was on it. This was bonkers. It was my first time going to this place. For the price, I'm was extremely satisfied with the selection of food. The food was at... a very good temperature for eating. We asked for a special order of catfish and they cooked it. That was truly wonderful of themto do that for us. Our server Teresa was definitely on point. She paid very close attention to when we were finished with aplate and removed it from the table promptly. Her personality was extremely pleasant.
