In my Top 5 ever for overall experience. Excellent wine and liquor selection with that perfect balance between friendly and fine... dining service. Excellent wine and liquor selection. Crab cakes, watermelon salad and stuffed mushrooms are excellent. Thesirloin was cooked perfectly and the ribeye had a perfect blend of flavors with the potatoes. As we stepped into the place, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was one of the closest places to us so we went in anyway.... It was obvious that the waitress expected us to order quickly and made a face when we requested water with lemon. I?m guessingshe felt the need to let us know how she felt about it because of the gesture she made. The food wasn?t put together well anddidn?t have the best taste. Especially not for the price and much less because of the staff. Surprising to see how staff nolonger care about service and now expect tips no matter how they treat us. We've been to Taste three times now. Each time the food and wine have been great. But it's the staff, particularly Ian, who... makes Taste special. He is the friendliest server I've had in Montgomery and really elevates the entire diningexperience. Mostly recently my wife and I shared a charcuterie board and ordered a bison burger and crab cakes. It was alldelicious and served quickly and with a smile. We will definitely be coming back. We had the meatballs, rib pasta, shrimp with green fried tomatoes, and bread pudding. It was all delicious!!! Our waitress was... super helpful and very quick. They have an 11 page wine menu. To quote our waitress "only Costco is cheaper on wine becausewe'll they are Costco". The restaurant is very clean and we'll decorated. I can't wait to go back again. I have found a newfavorite!!!! Wow, what a great menu !! We went for a drink and to try the apps we saw online. Our server Jess, was spectacular !! Super... knowledgeable of the menu, her drink suggestions were slammin !!
