Ordered haystacks appetizer and a Smash burger. The haystacks were served cold (they were replaced with warm ones when we asked... about it) with wet plates. The smash burger was ordered medium-well. It arrived with pink and a small amount of raw red in themiddle, cold buns and tepid fries. Not at all impressed with the food, we told them we didn't want the meal. They asked that wepay for the appetizer, which we were going to do because, well, the second ones were warmer. All in all, a poor experience. Read more

Husband took me for surprise brunch. He made reservations, but I don't think it was necessary. The waiter was wonderful. The... food was delicious. We got their onion rings as appetizer. I had omlete and hubby had fish tacos. He said the slaw could haveused a bit more dressing, other than that he said it was good. The grounds are cute. Only downside is that this awesome spot isa bit of a drive. But it's comparable to driving to Houston. Read more

What a lovely little gem in the country. We were heading to Lake Conroe to stay at Margaritaville and saw this restaurant on... google maps. Made reservations for Saturday brunch and it did not disappoint. Lovely setting, great atmosphere, great food andservice. We ordered the crab Benedict (must have), the bang bang shrimp (great pasta flavor however the shrimp was just fried, missing some seasoning, and the shrimp and grits (good flavor). We highly recommend this place. It takes you back to the good oldays. Read more
