I honestly was prepared to have my socks knocked off because of the Montgomery foodie groups members comments on the place. ... However it was just okay i asked my wife would you go back after do the place being almost 41 miles from our house. This place is LEGIT! My wife got the biscuits n gravy, I got the chicken fried steak w eggs and got my 3 yr old Mini English... Breakfast. First off... The portions are big! Everything was delicious, service is great and love the old school dineratmosphere and they have oldies playing in the background. We enjoy coming here on weekend mornings, they are always busy yet somehow we get sat almost always right away. A lot of great... looking choices, and no problems ordering a lunch type entree during breakfast hours. Nice diner atmosphere, clean and friendlystaff. It looks like 11am on Sunday, there is a wait, but tables turn quickly, so worth the wait. There's not really muchchoice in this area for breakfast, so this place does well. We did come here once in the evening for dinner, that wasn'tpleasant. Oddly enough, they offer popcorn for those interested, not sure about that. Parking here is tight, keep it in mind. Read more
We are vacationing and staying at a resort nearby. The food here at Magnolia is awesome. The service is old-fashion, nice and... warm. The food is affordable, well-prepared wirh humongous portions. We ordered supreme nachos with beef, bacon burger withseasoned fries, and chicken fried steak with okra and Cole slaw. Everything was delicious!!!! Read more

Fantastic employees, clean restaurant, perfectly crisp hash browns. The cinnamon pancakes tasted sweet and yummy. I loved the... grits, sausage and ham. The fried pork chop was sour or spoiled and they took it off our check. They even gave us a drink to go.We will be back. Read more
This place was fantastic everyone was very friendly and the tables were clean. All the food was cooked fresh and tasted... amazing! The waffle was crispy, soft and had very fresh strawberries. I was meeting a friend I hadn?t seen in a long while. She was staying in the area so I drove up from Houston to have a visit. We... had planned on breakfast and she recommended a chain place and I said, ?Let?s try this place?the Magnolia Diner?. She agreed andoff we went. The ambiance is cute. The restaurant (and restrooms) quite clean. The staff very friendly and attentive. The foodwas really good. I had the simple breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and sourdough toast with butter and honey. My friend hada veggie omelette with salsa and sourdough toast. We were both very pleased with our meal! Yum!!! And we stayed there for overtwo hours chatting up a storm while we grazed on the massive amounts of food before us. The waitress made rounds frequently andkept our drinks filled. The customer traffic was steady but not crowded so we weren?t worried about keeping a table for so longand neither did the staff seem to mind. It was a very chill environment. Plan to go there again.
