Quiet Vietnamese place. One of the owners lives in San Antonio. Stand alone shop. Pho taste good. Portions are normal. Spring... rolls are big, but can sometimes be a little too moist. It's been hit or miss for me personally. I moved from downtown Houston where I'm used to the old Vietnamese Town where all the... restaurants are cheap and excellent. The spring rolls I had this week were small and dry from Pho Dat. The Banh Mi was prettygood though I will continue to give them my business though. The owners are nice and the pho is pretty good. Really yummy Phó close to home. Very fast service and good prices for delicious Phó. Good balance of noodles broth and meat.... A great husband, wife and mom business. Very friendly and attentive. The service was friendly and the place is very clean. This review is based on the Pho, which is what I personally feel will set... a Vietnamese restaurant apart from others. It was good, and the cuts of meat were thin and plentiful as expected. The brothwas ok, but definitely not the best I?ve ever had but since I was away from home on a mini vacation and started craving pho, itdid the job. Also had the iced coffee, it was good and strong. Saw the sign so we gave it a try. A friendly welcome as we entered. The food was flavorful an fast . Warning the XL bowls are... big. I would come come back again. Had a pork bahn mi for lunch. The French bread was good and fresh. The pork was in a sauce which was unusual but still pretty... good. Only complaint was the size of the jalapeño slices on the sandwich. Half of a jalapeño with seeds included is way toobig of a slice. After catching 2 that size I had to go through the sandwich and pull 2 more out. Didn?t really like the jasminetea they were using either. I?d come here again to see what their pho is all about.
