We visited Stowe for a long weekend and were unlucky to find any stay in Stowe. Then we found this place and it was perfect! It... was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and provided plenty of parking and perfect location. Big thanks to host for helping us forour very late check in. This is the most relaxing B&B we have ever stayed at. The food was 5 star and the drinks were top notch!
Website said that they had a fridge in the room but no fridge. The hair dryer did not work. They need to have instructions on... how to use the TV not everyone has Netflix. The tub should have hand rail's. The prices for dinner was outrageous and food itemsyou never heard of. Read more

In Room 5 located upstairs in adjacent building to main. Room was very clean and well maintained with extra nice features like... fireplace, jacuzzi and nice private porch with 2 seats and a table. Ate in the restaurant after late 8PM arrival Friday night. I would like to thank Kathy the on site manager for asking if we wanted dinner and insuring we would have it available when wecalled in beforehand regarding our ETA. Wife had beef tips which were cooked to her high standards as requested medium well. Ihad the Maple Chipotle Salmon which was also excellent. Nice job Chef Hersh! Can not comment on breakfast since we went out intown to Oma's which is excellent for breakfast as well BTW. All the staff at Black Lantern Inn we interfaced with very verypersonable and professional. All in all we recommend this establishment highly as a go to if your in or around the Montgomeryarea!!!
