Reviews for Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Monticello, IL
Very nice people. Clean place. Good food.
I was passing thru Monticello to go home 45 minutes away. I ordered in the drive thru. I ordered a GRILLED chicken sandwich with... NO TOMATO. I am highly allergic to tomatoes & I repeated NO TOMATO 3x's. I get home and find a BREADED chicken sandwich WITHTOMATO! I tried calling them 4x's....NO ANSWER. I guess I'm stupid for not checking the order before I left, but I shouldn'thave to. People wonder why consumers get mad...follow directions people!!!!!!! Needless to say I threw the sandwich away. Neveragain will I go to DQ! Read more
This is a very well managed dairy queen when it seems all the other small town dairy queen's are running out of ambition. Hats... off to the Patels for keeping such a clean efficient facility running smoothly. Thank you! Read more
Always a fun experience. Owned and operated by a wonderful local family that is VERY much community involved.
For that most part people go drive thru. If you walk inside less lines and good to eat ice cream outside as there's cool benches... in front of it and areas to sit around the square. Read more
The owners work there. They are nice. They make sure your satisfied with your food. It took about 4 minutes to get my pork... tenderloin sandwich since they cook it fresh. They have ketchup packages on the table not the actual container. There ismustard containers, salt and pepper shakers at the table. When a person leaves they disinfected. They know what table you sat atsince they bring it out to you. Read more
Not the worst restaurant experience I've ever had, but it was down there for sure. The chicken strip basket tasted like it was... cooked in very old grease, the gravy was like water, and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. The store itself needs lots ofcleaning and maintenance. In the women's restroom, the soap dispenser was both empty and broken. Makes you wonder what they arewashing their hands with... We will not go back. Read more
